Consumer Marketing Templates
One of the important aspects of being the Graphic Designer was working on the current consumer marketing templates such as flyers, brochures, summer camp shirts, posters, banners, etc. Every year, I needed to update the templates for each of the consumer marketing materials. The two most used templates are the flyer and brochure templates.
Student Handbooks
I first worked on the golf and tennis handbooks by adding much need text edits, layout templates, high resolution images, and new vector graphics. After finishing up the revised golf and tennis student handbooks, I worked with my colleagues to establish a new layout and style scheme for the new student handbooks and six additional sport versions. This project combined a lot of skills and was immensely satisfying to finish.
Photo Editing
A big part of my time was going through the ever-growing photo library and edit photos for use in print and digital formats. Edits ranged from simple adjustments like light/dark levels to more challenging edits such as rebuilding a basketball hoop in the background and masking out people on a golf course.
Email and Social Media Graphics
A big part of the marketing strategy for the franchises we supported was using digital newsletter and social media graphics. First, we created email headers to lead with these digital newsletters, which we updated a year later. The newsletter and social media graphics would range from acknowledging national holidays to being a part of a slow drip promotional program. The special holidays is where I had the most fun putting these graphics together.
Brand Management and Development
Upon my arrival the company was transitioning from the old branding to the new branding package created by a design firm. Once the new logo files were delivered, I created a lot of format variations that were not originally included. Additional, whenever a specific file format for embroidery or screen-printing was requested, I was involved in putting it together to ensure high quality and brand consistency. Once the new brand transition was set in place, I put together a new logo for the non-profit arm of the company. Finally, during my time I was asked to put together a 15 year anniversary emblem and a logo for a new product.
